1. Who We Are
  • Here at Brookmere Ltd we are not in the business of collecting personal data in order to sell it on to others. However, in order to fulfil customer orders, or to keep interested customers up to date with what we are up to, we do need to collect some personal information. This document will describe what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we make sure that it doesn’t end up in the wrong hands.
  1. Google Analytics
  • When somebody visits brookmereltd.com we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to monitor how the website is performing by looking at number of visitors to various parts of the website. This information is processed in a way that does not identify the user. We do not make and do not allow Google to make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

We use Xero to log our sales transactions for accounting purposes. This information is stored in order that we can provide quotations, communicate with customers regarding order requirements, fulfil customer orders and provide invoices. We also store supplier details on Xero in order to log purchase transactions. This data is kept on the Xero platform and is therefore protected by  Xero’s privacy policy, which is GDPR compliant.
Royal Mail Name & Address We use Royal Mail to send goods to our customers and therefore need to provide them with this information. This data is protected by Royal Mail’s Privacy Policy, which is GDPR compliant.
Other Courier Service Name & Address On occasion we will use other courier services to deliver goods, and therefore we need to provide them with this data. We will ensure that any courier service used has a GDPR compliant privacy policy.
